Quick Bite Before The Theatre - Nick & Toni's - NYC - Foodie Alert!

Finding a great place to eat without breaking the bank in the Lincoln Center area in NYC can be tricky. And . . . it still is.

Greg Allen
Joining me for readings of two television pilots sponsored by the Writers Guild of America is my colleague and good friend, Greg Allen. Be careful, if you take a look at his website and all that he does, the dozens of creative hats he wears will make you dizzy!

Nick & Toni's wood burning oven.
We met up at Nick & Toni's located at 100 West 67th Street so we only had two blocks and half an avenue to get to the Elinor Bunin Monroe Film Center at Lincoln Center (144 West 65th Street).

Margherita pizza and oven roasted mussels.
We made reservations on the early side knowing that pre-theatre crowds can really clog up restaurants resulting in a mad dash to wherever you're going. We ordered the margherita pizza and the oven roasted mussels. But the real star of this show were the zucchini chips. Light, crunchy and with just the right amount of salt, these finger-lickin good taste treats were irresistible.

Zucchini chips.

It was great to catch-up in person with Greg and everything going on in our lives. And we made it just in time for the reading, even with me eating with the smallest mussel fork invented.

Buon Appetito!
